Petite Rouge: A Cajun-Flavored Take on Little Red Riding Hood

It's Mardi Gras time, and Synchronicity Theatre gets everyone age three and older in on the fun with this new children's musical. This Cajun-flavored version of the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood finds Petite Rouge in danger from a big, bad gator instead of a wolf as a swamp chorus keeps the zydeco beat going. Based on the book by Mike Artell and Jim Harris, this foot-stomping new family show is by Joan Cushing, the playwright and composer of the Junie B. Jones musical.
